Next Solo Show At Grace Aberdean in Alabama

This exhibition is an exploration of identity and spiritualistic rituals. It is a shedding of skin that reveals a timid nature. Grifters, snake oil salesmen, and the disenchanted serve as the main characters in these painted theatrical tableaux which are rooted in Milagros folk art. The combination of detailed line work and spontaneous bursts of color creates a meditative environment for the viewer . ghost ghost teeth aka Simon Tran is a Long Beach, CA native who explains: “Art is a means to articulate the constant movement between chaos and tranquility that happens in my head.”

Live Painting!!!! February 10th!!!!

It’s been a quick minute since the last time I did a live painting. I’m honored to be asked to participate in the upcoming Kiss N Grind event at the Vanguard in Hollywood. There will be a bunch of live painting going on courtesy of the Analigital crew. Also, the main event of course is DJ Questlove of The Roots!!!!!!!!! Gonna be hella booty shakin.

LA Zinefest!!!
